Travel: China

1.3 billion people, 9.6 million square kms, 22 provinces, 5 autonomous regions (including the occupied colonies of Tibet and Xinjiang), 4 centrally administered municipalities, 2 special administrative regions, two travelers and 10 months. Way too large of a country to see all that much in just 10 months, but what we did see, we loved. We had a truly fantastic time everywhere we went. The highlights being Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi in the very south, Xinjiang in the very west, and Tibet, way up in the thin air of 4 to 5 thousand meters above sea level. Loved the people all over the country, just couldn't stand the government.
